God loves us and has provided a way that we can know for sure where we will spend eternity. The Bible states it this way: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" John 3:16

You CAN know for certain...Jesus can give you that assurance. 


We have to first understand the problem

that is keeping us from Heaven.

The problem is this - our sinful nature keeps us from having a relationship with God. We are sinners by nature and by choice.

The Bible tells us that ALL have sinned (Romans 3:23). It also tells us we cannot save ourselves.(Ephesians 2:8-9) and that we deserve death and hell. (Romans 6:23)


BUT God loves us and has provided payment for our sins through his son, Jesus (John 14:6) The Bible tells us to get to Heaven we must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved (Acts 16:31) 


 It is only trusting in Jesus Christ that can provide forgiveness of sins.



If you do not know Jesus as your savior,

here are the simple steps:

1. Admit that you are a sinner


Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. 

Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness


2. Believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior


John 3:16 God  loved the world so much that He gave His only son, Jesus, so that if you will believe in Him you will not perish but have eternal life.


Ephesians 2: 8-10 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift- not from works, so that no one can boast. For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.


John 14:6 Jesus told him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.


3. Confess with your mouth


Romans 10:9 If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.


Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.



If you're ready to ask Jesus into your heart you can pray a prayer something like this...


Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness.

I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead.

I repent, turn away from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life.

I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen"



If you prayed that prayer WELCOME TO THE FAMILY OF GOD!!!  Heaven and all the angels are rejoicing!  Now Jesus belongs to you!
